A Secret Too Many -Chapter 2-

                                     Chapter 2



Fluttershy… Rainbow Dash… Fluttershy… eyes… red eyes… Fluttershy… Soft… smile… glowing…

"Fluttershy?" Rainbow Dash's voice rang through Fluttershy's thoughts about three times before she snapped back to reality. "FlutterShy, you alive there?" Rainbow Dash was walking into the living room, where Fluttershy was and lay a blue hoof on her shoulder.

"Oh, Yeah. Sorry I must've… um… spaced out…" Spacing or daydreaming wasn't unusual for the shy Pegasus. She often had small visions or dreams when not occupied with an activity. Déjà vu wasn't unusual either. She'd have a dream and see something she'd seen dreamed, on a TV show.        

"Fluttershy, we were just debating whether to watch some movies or go to bed and tell scary stories. Which do you wanna do?"    

"Um, Movies I guess…" Fluttershy smiled a bit and hid her face when Rainbow Dash did not smile back at her.

"Movies it is then. I call right side of the couch!" Rainbow Dash ran to claim her seat. "Fluttershy come'on I'll let you lean on my shoulder if you fall asleep!"

What an unusual thing for her to say… Fluttershy thought. But she went with it. "Ok Dashie."

"I like that nickname…" Rainbow Dash smiled and pulled Fluttershy onto her lap by accident, meaning to pull her beside herself "Oops, well this is ok too." She smiled at Fluttershy.

Fluttershy blushed and buried her face in her hair and whispered to Rainbow Dash "Das- Rainbow Dash. I'm sorry, I can't sit… here… I can't… sit on… you…." She softly got up. She found a new cruelness added to her words at the rainbow maned Pegasus… Or was it sterness…? She wasn't sure but she thought she had made Rainbow Dash cry. She wasn't willing to check… she sat beside Rainbow Dash, and nuzzled her shoulder tenderly.

Everypony else was in the kitchen, thank goodness. For what Fluttershy was about to pull off would not be appreciated by her friends. Should I..? She pondered…. Oh well, Rainbow Dash wouldn't mind… they'd been bestest friends since flying school, even before Rainbow Dash defended her from the bullies.

"Dashy." Fluttershy said in her sweetest voice and tapped Rainbow Dash's cheek lightly with her hoof.

"Hm, What Pl-" She turned to look at Fluttershy and received a long, loving kiss from her. After the kiss, Rainbow Dash stuttered "Flu-… I… Er…."

"Oh dear…. Please… Don't be mad with me!" Fluttershy's eyes teared up as she sniffled and stared into her friend's eyes. "I thought…. You needed it…"

"Fluttershy… I did…. I needed it a lot…" Rainbow Dash Smiled put her hoof on Fluttershy's cheek, pulling her mouth towards herself. "May I get another one…?"

             Fluttershy was paralyzed. She pulled away and scooted away from Rainbow Dash. "I'm sorry.... I must be daydreaming....."
            
"Your not." Rainbow Dash said is a set voice and blushed. "I'm sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable…"

"It… It's Ok… Dashie…" Fluttershy said under her breath, happily smiling.

"Sorry for the delay, we had a mess of icing in the kitchen. Pinkie." Twilight stared at Pinkie Pie when adding the last part.
"How was I susposed to know icing was allergic to the color pink hehe…?" Pinkie Pie replied knowing her name was acknowledged.

"Um, icing allergic to pin-…" Rainbow Dash began, interrupted by Twilight Sparkle.

"Don't ask." Twilight Sat opposite of the Pegasus ponies. Followed by Pinkie, who sat closest to Fluttershy, and AppleJack, who sat between Pinkie and Twilight. "Hey, where's Rarity?"

"Over here darling!" Rarity posed on her diamond encrusted arm chair. "Isn't it just lovely?"

"How'd you get that here?!?!" Twilight screamed nervously. As she jumped up off the couch and checked the floor for dents the heavy looking chair would've left.

"Easy. We're unicorns Darling." She levitated Twilight onto the chair beside herself. "You know you love the chair.." Rarity winked and smiled largely.

"Movie time!" Pinkie randomly shouted and slipped a disc into the DVD-player "We'll watch the little pony that could!"

Fluttershy felt Rainbow Dash slip her arm around Fluttershy's waist, barely visable to the other ponies. Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy met each other's eyes and smiled friendily at each other. Fluttershy looked away at the film.

Rainbow Dash noticed Rarity and Twilight Sparkle holding hooves. She knew their secret. They'd been in love with each other since the time Rarity got stolen by those dogs.

In her mind, Rainbow Dash sighed. She'd had a crush on Fluttershy for a long time. Did Fluttershy feel the same about her? She doubted it. Fluttershy wasn't any fillie fooler, she couldn't be. And if she was, she had to be taken already.

"Fluttershy…" Rainbow Dash let out the name barely audible to the pink maned Pegasus.

"Yes, Dashie?" Fluttershy replied questioningly, " What is it?" She stared at Rainbow Dash, waiting for an answer.

"Are you… Um…. Err…" Rainbow Dash searched for the right term, fillie fooler was too insulting, though she liked the reputation herself. "Um, are you a…. Do you…. Like…. Fillies…." Rainbow Dash whispered still, so the others couldn't hear her, which was easy since a movie was going on.

"Rainbow Dash. What are you saying…?" Fluttershy looked at her blushing, "Are you…. Asking me if… I like you?"

"Uh… may-… er… n-…" Rainbow Dash Stuttered and paused, her face turning red hot, she could feel herself blushing.

"If you are, Than… I think… I do…" Fluttershy replied, a tear falling from her cheek, now getting emotional.

Rainbow Dash couldn't think of anything to say, so she nuzzled Fluttershy's cheek, wiping the tear, and smiled. She saw Fluttershy rest her head on Rainbow Dash's side, Fluttershy stared into Rainbow Dash's eyes, as Rainbow Stared back into her's, and they slowly fell asleep together feeling happy… Fluttershy felt… a bit… Of… Deja-vu…
